Personalized Therapy Focused on Reaching Goals
Our Approach to Therapy
Your child’s therapy takes into account their strengths and weaknesses, their likes and dislikes, and centers on a strong client-clinician relationship. Direct therapy includes:
Personalized therapy centered on specific goals.
Ongoing communication with families, caregivers, and other key stakeholders.
Progress monitoring data.
Services are provided at the Focus Speech Therapy location. A limited number of teletherapy sessions are available.
Evaluations Help Establish the Roadmap Forward
Evaluations
Evaluations are conducted for almost every new client. Evaluation criteria and administration can vary across SLPs, it is often pertinent that we conduct our own evaluation to determine appropriate goals and course of therapy. Evaluations may include:
Standardized testing to provide strengths and weaknesses as compared to peers your child’s age.
Language sampling
Observation and interview
Evaluations allow us to operate from the same set of data and provide a benchmark to measure future success.
